The ABT Framework was first introduced by Dr. Randy Olson in 2012. It was derived from an initial speech by screenwriting legend Frank Daniel in 1986, though tracks back to the Hegelian Triad of the 1700’s. It is the tripartite structure at the core of everything from argumentation to storytelling to the scientific method.
